Comment lancer LEGO Island 2 sans CD (Guide DOSBox)
LEGO Island 2: The Brickster's Revenge (2001) est un jeu Windows 16-bit qui ne tourne pas nativement sur Windows 64-bit modernes. DOSBox (avec couche Windows 9x) ou machine virtuelle est la voie fiable. Ci-dessous méthode DOSBox + Win9x.
Prérequis
- ISO/image de votre disque LEGO Island 2 (que vous possédez).
- DOSBox 0.74-3 (ou DOSBox-Staging pour meilleur support Win9x).
- Image disque démarrage Windows 98 SE ou média installation (zone grise légale — utilisez votre propre licence).
Alternative plus simple : DOSBox-X + Win9x
DOSBox-X inclut installateur Windows 95/98 intégré. Plus facile que DOSBox vanilla.
Pas à pas (DOSBox-X)
- Installez DOSBox-X.
- Lancez DOSBox-X → menu : Outils → Installer Windows 98. Suivez prompts (besoin ~500 Mo image disque).
- Montez votre ISO LEGO Island 2 : dans DOSBox-X,
IMGMOUNT D /chemin/vers/LEGO_ISLAND_2.ISO -t iso. - Démarrez Windows 98 :
BOOT -l c(ou utilisez menu). - Dans Win98 : Ouvrez « Poste de travail » → D: → lancez
SETUP.EXE. Installez dans C:\LEGO2. - Après installation, appliquez patch officiel si existe (v1.1).
- Créez raccourci autoexec DOSBox-X :
[autoexec] IMGMOUNT D "/chemin/vers/LEGO_ISLAND_2.ISO" -t iso BOOT -l c - Lancez → Windows 98 démarre → double-clic raccourci LEGO Island 2 sur bureau.
Encore plus facile : GOG / Steam ?
En 2024, LEGO Island 2 n'est PAS sur GOG ou Steam. S'il apparaît un jour, c'est la voie zéro-config.
